Actually that is a fair point Snoddy, and a good enough one to change my view. Baines gave Whittaker a torrid time at Goodison. Do not recall Baines being as effective at Carrow Road with Russ at RB. 

So it may be necessary to go with a Turner/Bennett CB partnership to allow Russ to play at RB. My worry about that though is that it is getting close to the defence that started the season at Fulham last year (Garrido/Olsson in Tierney''s place otherwise the same) and we all know how well that went.

That was a whole year ago, and the midfield will look a bit different. If we went on that game, Mladen Petric should be a target for Real Madrid this summer, not a free agent.

Actually the midfield potentially will not look that different. Presumably Redmond will play instead of Pilkington tomorrow, which could be the only change if Johnson, Howson and Snoddy get the other berths. We did though play Surman behind Holt for the first 45 and that obviously did not work. 

The difference though should be the organisation of the midfield not the personnel.
