Salopian 1 Posted June 26, 2013 If we sell Bennett to Villa, as has been mooted, it seems that Brighton, his former club, would get part of the proceeds via a sell-on clause. The amount was described by Brighton as "reasonable", so don''t expect us to get the full value of what Villa pay! Another good reason to hang on to the player. Brighton might see 30% as "reasonable", but as he''s only got a year left on his contract and didn''t get much game time last year, any fee we get (if we sell, which I doubt very much) isn''t likely to be much, if anything, above what we paid Brighton.30% of f**k all isn''t very much.
