SwindonCanary 455 Posted June 28, 2013 I notice the Ruddy on the front page mentions "The keeper missed five months of last season with a thigh injury but returned for the vital back-to-back league wins over West Brom and Manchester City that guaranteed Norwich’s survival."I know it guaranteed we''d stay up., but it would be good to remember that if we had lost those two games we would still have been safe. It's Character Forming 1,160 Posted June 28, 2013 True but when we played WBA we needed a win to make us mathematically safe because Wigan still had 2 games to play after then. So it would be fair to say the win over WBA did guarantee our survival. By the Man C game we were safe and obviously our players were "on the beach" mentally for that game.
