keenes1986 0 Posted July 2, 2013 Excellent bit of business by Stokehttp://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23154728Would''ve been a good fit at CR
Mr Brownstone 0 Posted July 2, 2013 Because we already have 4 CB''s better than Shawcross and Huth?
TIL 1010 5,246 Posted July 2, 2013 Well I for one will hold my hands up and say I know absolutely nothing about this guy and have never seen him play. Maybe you could give us your in depth knowledge of this player and tell us all why he " would''ve been a good fit at CR" .

Thisisbabyish 0 Posted July 2, 2013 You obviously didn''t watch the Confederations final!Spanish football is dead! Barca got walked off the park by some carnival dancers, sideshow bob and (in the view of one Joseph Barton) a ladyboy!Let stoke have him!
Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted July 3, 2013 I don''t think it is an excellent bit of business. He was out all of last season with injury. Add to that some of his past performances by all accounts have been very mixed and on occasions has been described as a liability
ROBFLECK 134 Posted July 3, 2013 Well people are just a bit down that an other team is doing bussiness and there is no concrete news of any signings at CR yet... Doesn''t matter who they sign...there doing (good????) bussiness.Get real people , there will be some signings at FCR too soon !!!
NCFCgardener 0 Posted July 3, 2013 Do you assume he is going to be good just because he is Spanish? Dont forget, we also have our own Spanish U21 in Ayala. While I think its a good signing for Stoke, we dont need him.
lake district canary 0 Posted July 3, 2013 Why the hell didn''t we sign Lionel Messi?Yet another pointless post
Tumbleweed 106 Posted July 3, 2013 Keep up FFSBOR, the only reason we haven''t is he may be deported for tax evasion so we''d be back to good ''ole Wesley again. Andres Iniesta is a much more realistic target now that all Spanish football is suddenly in turmoil.
The Great Mass Debater 1,202 Posted July 3, 2013 Always my first signing on Football Manager as he develops into an awesome player! Whether or not the real Muniesa is as much of a coup I dont know :DGreat piece of PR in that article too - ''I looked around the stadium and the training facilities and was very impressed''. No offence to Stoke, but I find it hard to imagine that someone can come from Barcelona, having been exclusively schooled there and be impressed by Stoke... keenes1986 0 Posted July 3, 2013 I wouldn''t call it "in-depth knowledge" but he''s a product of the Barcelona youth acadamy, he''s played for the Barca B side and the senior side, he''s capped for the Spain U-21 side (the side that won the most recent U-21 Euro Champs).Aside from that he''s got lots of potential and can play at CB or LB which is where we could do with some cover and whats more he was available for free. Flying Dutchman 766 Posted July 3, 2013 But he has a fancy name, who cares if he was released and easily ''impressed'' by Stoke, he MUST be amazing...
