Why so negative Rob? R Bennett and (supposedly) Redmond chose us over Swansea (who haven''t even been linked to Fer and certainly can''t afford him on top of Gomis, Boney and Shelvey + others. Redmond has also chosen us over Everton so it''s not as easy a decision as you may think. How would Fer fit in Everton''s midfield? Can''t see him getting in front of Fellaini or Osman and if they''re waiting to see if Fellaini is sold then we have plenty of chance to snap him up first.

What people are forgetting about Swansea is that it is even further away from civilisation than Norwich and is, to put it politely, a dump. Playing for one of the best footballers of his generation, in a team which plays attractive football, is a major pull... but it doesn''t make up for the fact that Swansea is a cess pit full of thieving junkies.

Bit harsh newboy! The Gower / Mumbles side of Swansea is more beautiful than anything you''ll find in Norfolk. Yes Swansea has its grotty side, but somehow I don''t think the footballers will be visiting those areas too often.
