Tufnell Park Canary 0 Posted May 20, 2005 this is my prediction: GK: Green (one more season) LB: Drury CB: Shack (legend potential) CB: Fleming [C] (yes, worthy will stick with him) RB: Charlton (worthy likes to play left backs out of position and I think helveg will go) MR: Jonson MC: Safri MC: Koumas ML: Hucks FC: McKenzie FC: Ashton
Archie 0 Posted May 20, 2005 Yoda I would take that team anyday, would play Huckerby out on the leftRemember, when we were last in div 1 they always put two players on Hucks, if we keep DEano and Leon and they play well they''ll want to put two players on al of them! Robin Gardner 0 Posted May 22, 2005 Next seasons team for sure has to be this oneGK - Ward (Gallager will prob go as well as Greeno as he''s out of international favour)LB - Drury (Like a son to Worthy and ever present in promotion campaign)CB - Gabbiddon (Not Premiership but definitly Championship)CB - Shackell (Can''t see any Premiership clubs coming in for him with how many we conceded)RB - Flem (He can play right back too remember, and who needs Helveg anyway)LM - (Gotta be Hucks, thank god!)CM - Safri ((Better than Francis anyway)CM - Sadly, Holt, (110% is great but more goals please!)RM - Jonson (Reckon he''ll do the business at Championship level)F - Mckenzie (No problems here)F - Ashton (He''d better stay)Subs,Lewis, Charlton, Henderson, Jarvis, Docherty a.k.a. Utility Monk!

NottsCanary 0 Posted May 24, 2005 If I was the Manager/Delia/Mr Delia/Doncaster I would be busting a gut to get this team...                            Ward Helveg    Gabbidon   Shackell   Drury  Jonson   Jagielka         Safri     Huckerby                  Ashton          McKenzie  Sell Francis and Green for a combined £5 million. Doncaster has said that any money Worthy receives will be given for players... So here are a few... Jagielka - £2 million Gabbidon - £1.5 million Partridge - Free (just been released) David Bentley? - £850''000 Kris Commons - £500''000 Jason Koumas - £800''000 Wes Morgan - £500''000 Lee Clark - Free (just been released) What we missed this year is a holding player in midfield, (Holt tried...). With Bentley, Huckerby, Francis and Safri all with attacking mentality the defence was completley exposed. With a player like Jagielka, all he will do is sit in that hole and sit when we attack, like Makelele. This will let the other three players get on with attacking. And with a team like this next year I can''t see any other result than promotion if I''m being honest. This team is better than last seasons premiership team, what nearly survived. Nearly. Is this realistic or am I dreaming? Your thoughts please... The future''s bright, the future''s yellow...

I think if you put a left back in the team thus giving it eleven players it might stand a chance.
