ZLF 271 Posted July 10, 2013 Echoes of the schwarzer deal at chelsea (cautois (sp) intead of rudd - cover for a year while rudd gets match time at preston. Good signing and fingers crossed wont get a game all season :-) (because Bunn Ruddy stay fit - not because I dont rate him!) As a tanget thought should players over 40, like those under 21, be excluded from the 25 man squad???
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted July 10, 2013 Giggs could be a player coach until he was 65 then!
Jonzey 0 Posted July 10, 2013 It will take days for the shockwaves of this transfer to stop travelling through the footballing world. Norwich sign aging third choice ''keeper shocker. Take that Barcelona.
Chunky Norwich 0 Posted July 10, 2013 I''m not sure if Nash is any better than Camp as a third-choice ''keeper. Is he cheaper? Is he doing his coaching badges? Is he a good lad to have around the place a la Paul Crichton?
JC 0 Posted July 10, 2013 Camp is younger and wants to play, he is still only 28/29. Also competing to play for N Ireland which is less likely if he isn''t playing. Knew he was going to be second choice for the majority of the rest of the season when he signed because of the injury to RuddyNash has good experience, will be most likely fairly cheap as well
CambridgeCanary 0 Posted July 10, 2013 Third choice keeper is a really specialist position calling for particular qualities. You need to be good enough to play if required but content not to play. It is about accepting your place as understudy and contributing to the well being of the squad. I am happy with Carlo'' appointment. We may never see him in a City shirt but his role will be a small but vital part of the season.
