i totally agree......u can go back as far as Disco Dale,Flecky,Townsend and Ruel.I think we have done well in the past to get all the money we have done for players in the past! Not many play better than they did here!

The obvious ones who have done well are Bruce,Watson,Sutton,Bellamy and Woods.

Can anyone else add to the pot?

Dale Gordon and Andy Townsend both won trophies after leaving City though.

I can think of a few players who have gone onto better things: Phelan, Mills, Sherwood and you could now also add Matt Jackson to that list.  Why did we let him leave again?

Yeah they won trophies but i dont think they ever reproduced the form that they showed at FCR.

Andy linighan to arsenal 1.25 million never really shone there.
Darren eadie 3 million leciester injury plagued time there .
Justin fashanu 1 million forest 3 goals in 32 games sold on the next season.
Andy johnson 2.2 million forest injury and loss of form never the same when he left norwich.
Efan Ekoku to the wombles for a million never did much there abnd faded away.
Thats a few who prehaps had they have stayed things may have worked out for the better for both club and player.
