The rest of the world looks comparatively weak against Europe but there are a fair few teams over there that could pull us apart 9 times out of 10.I was chuffed to see us placed so highly on FIFAs list.You asked for opinions. Although it can be difficult to directly compare European and South American football, similar in a way to trying to compare mens and womens football, I would say that there are still quite a few teams outside of Europe that are either on a par with, or who are better than Norwich. I would agree with Norwich being about 9th best in England though, and the fact that they''re even in the top-100 of the world & Europe is great testament to the progress that the club has made over the last 4 years or so. Juggy 0 Posted July 24, 2013 There are easily ten better teams in South America, probably twenty or thirty. Several from Brazil, the Mexican league is also extremely strong. We may have just beaten a Mexican team but they were an average second division team. Toluca and Tigres are currently extremely strong. Then there are strong teams in Argentina, Colombia and Uruguay. Like Boca Juniors. There have been 9 FIFA World Club cups siuce 2000 and South American teams have won it four times, European teams 5 times. It is a lot closer than people think.
