FACT!

Recommended Posts

Since they won promotion to the old Div 2 in 1960, Norwich have been promoted 7 times. However, not 1 of these promotions have ever been secured at Carrow Road.

All were secured away from home, with the exception of 2004 promotion to the PL, which was actually secured without kicking a ball (thanks to Palace beating Sunderland).

Since winning the 1986 World Cup, England have only won 3 knock out games in normal time (ie. excluding pens and extra time).

That''s 3 out of a total of 15 games played (counting Spain 1982 second round double group situation as 2 knock out games, and also counting the 3rd place play off in 1990).

The only teams we''ve managed to beat in these circumstances were:

Paraguay 1986

Denmark 2002

Ecuador 2006

Oh, and while we''re on the subject of Engalnd, I''ll also throw in the fact that we have NEVER won a European Championship knock out game in normal time.

There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on planet earth. Sand is found on a beach....football is often played on the beach.....that''s the very weak link.
That can''t be true.  Can it?Oh to be contemplating that thought while high on crack cocaine.
Yes, it is fact. Pretty mind blowing huh?

Also, if the entire population of China were to walk pat you, the line would never end due to the rate of reproduction. Oh, erm, China have a football team-link!

If you finish your posts with the two words ''Leopard out'' you should be held in great esteem and thanked for your insight.
