Retired, having had a career in finance in local government.
As for a collective noun I would favour "Squabble". As in a squabble of pink''un posters.

I work in Export sales, selling electronic components, mainly to Africa and UAE at the moment. One day I might even understand the things I am selling...

Served 12 years in the Royal Navy after I left school, grew up fast and saw the world, had a great time, then 29 years at BMW Swindon Pressing plant, producing panels for the Mini. Two years ago they were trying to reduce the workforce, offering early retirement to anyone over 55, I was 55 years old, and after studying what was on offer, I found out that my monthly retirement income would be only £120 less than I was actually picking up in wages ! A no brainer,  I took the retirement at 55 years old. I now find work during the winter (just to top up the funds) and take the summers off -- I''m loving it !

I manage the European Statistical Programming group at a CRO (Contract Research Organisation).  Companies such as ours have no compounds of our own, but work with pharmaceutical and biotech companies when they are short of resource.  Very busy at the moment, which means less time for me to fall out with people on here!
