Chants no longer heard at Carrow Road

Recommended Posts

I''ll start this off....

"Give me an Enn....(lone voice) .... Enn (crowd)

Ohhh..... Ohhhh...

Arghhhh...... Arghhhh....

Wubbleyou.... Wubbleyou...

Eye... Eye....

Seeeee.... Seeeee....

Aitch.... Aitch....

What yer got? NORWICH! NORWICH! NORWICH!"

used to hear this both one and away at every game, but now haven''t heard for a while...

She fell over! She fell over!

Probably directly linked to the fact that''s it''s been many years since we''ve had to give away large groups of Quid for a Kid tickets!!

''Andy Marshall is a cu.....'' That one ;)

I liked Marshall though. He was my first favourite player, shortly followed by the much more respectable Iwan Roberts.

Been telling my lads about the power of this one:

Score in a minute...we''re gonna score in a minute!

Score in a minute!

We''re gonna score in a minute!

(Repeat)...

Sung to Guantanamera, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jm1anurhbeg

NOTE:

There is a HUGE pyschological boost to be had from singing this song. It raises expectancies amongst players and crowd by adopting an appropriate mental focus. From my experience at NCFC a few years back, the law of ''self-fulfilling prophecy'' quickly kicked in and (it''s not due to luck) Norwich would very often find themselves celebrating the very thing they''d been singing about!

Got to be my #1 chant to be revived on the terraces!

Six foot two,

Eyes of blue,

Duncan Forbes is after you!

Harry Roberts is our friend, is our friend

Harry Roberts is our friend

Because he kills --------!

(-------) = not acceptable these days!

I was born under the Barclay stand (to the tune of wandering star)

Your going in the river/home in a Norfolk ambulance.

We''re gonna drive our tractors over you

Come on a skateboard ....

And my fave away tune (although I think its still current)

My garden shed......

Bertie Mee once said, to Bill Shankly,

have you heard of the North Bank, Highbury,

Shankly said no, I don''t think so,

but I''ve heard of the Norwich Barclay.

Na, na, na, na, na, na, na ad infinitum....
My personal favourite was "My garden shed,is bigger than this".  We don''t here this one any more - granted there aren''t many sheds in the premiership..............
I thought there was a big one in the corner of the Barclay and Jarrold stands LDC. A real eyesore and about 5 floors high. [:P][;)]

I used to love the one where it included the words ''my dad said be an Ipswich fan I said f**k off dad your a c***'' or something like that? Any else remember for me?

The 12 days of Huckerby was brilliant and the banter with the man city fans.. ''Weve got Abramovich you''ve got a drunken b*tch'' to which we replied ''we''ve got a supercook you''ve got a Russian crook'' haha

Yeah it was to the tune of My Old Man Said Follow The Van. You''d probably get tutted at because of the amount of swearing.

You''re shi* and you stink of fish. To Grimsby boys.
I know it''s incredibly childish but I could never keep a straight face whilst singing "all your women smell of fish" to Grimsby fans.
I used to love their reply though,

We piss on your fish, yes we do yes we doooo!

Miss playing at blundell park, we had some good games there over the years.
