RvWs 4 year contract 0 Posted May 6, 2013 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8695758/(Apologies for lack of link, I''ve stll not worked out how to do it).Why are we selling players when we dont know what league we''re going to be in?!
lake district canary 4,531 Posted May 6, 2013 Martin has a career to develop and he will be better for moving to another club. Too much baggage for us now.
Chunky Norwich 0 Posted May 6, 2013 Master Martin is not really wanted by Hoots regardless of which league we''re in methinks. Even if/when we go down, we''ll still have Vaughan, Holt, Bechi-who, Cinnamon and Wolfy. And potentially Morris and the Murphys
Baracouda 47 Posted May 6, 2013 2goals in 13 games for Derby. Surprised they want him.

Indy_Bones 441 Posted May 6, 2013
2goals in 13 games for Derby. Surprised they want him.
Yet Kamara managed just 1 in 11 for us (league accepted) and many thought he''d be a good signing...The justification was that he offered more than just goals, but apparently Martin can''t do the same and should be written off based purely on goals scored...Personally I always thought Martin had the potential to perform for us at this level but never got the full ''rub of the green'' with his chances (only 4 games in our first prem season under Lambert when we were adapting to the new league?).Chances are that he really is Championship level at best, but unlike players such as Jackson, he wasn''t given the fair chance to prove it either way... step 0 Posted May 6, 2013 Doubt Vaughan wants to come back.Think he "owes" us and as far as Im concerned he should be back training and supporting the lads back here...however it might not be good if we have someone positive around the place ;-)
