Gingerpele 0 Posted May 7, 2013 And wait until Sunday evening before being too depressing.Reading what Norwich fans have to say on here, Twitter and Facebook makes us all seem suicidal. We aren''t the only team in danger, seen plenty of Villa fans worrying themselves silly as well.Basically, even if Wigan win 5-0 it still comes down to wether we beat WBA. Of course we could beat them and still go down, but unlikely unless Villa beat Chelsea and then lose to Wigan, or Wigan beat Arsenal then lose to Villa. Gingerpele 0 Posted May 7, 2013 P.SWBA look about as up for it as Swansea...
Samwam27 519 Posted May 7, 2013 And we could conceivably lose to WBA & Manc C and stay up, if Newcastle lose both, and they are by no means in a pretty position. It''s not looking pretty, but there are still two games to go!

spudgfsh 0 Posted May 7, 2013 I think you''ll find that a lot of people (like me) had the last of the optimism broken on Saturday.
Gingerpele 0 Posted May 7, 2013 Yes spud, fair enough. But its not over. The way some people go on its like we were relegated on Saturday, have about 0.0001% chance of beating WBA (despite actually not playing that badly in 4 of the last 5 games. Just obviously lacking a few things, but WBA aren''t really going to be as up for the game as Villa were.)Swansea have just equalised again. Nothing is certain. In this game, in our game vs WBA or ManC. In any of the other important games at the bottom. Yes we''ve not been up to the standard we can play to. The tactics are often poor, the commitment and effort often drops, we''ve been done over by officials, and even more so a lack of cutting edge in the final third (which last season was negated somewhat by getting in the final third more frequently). But we haven''t been playing completely useless football, apart from against Stoke. We dominated possession against Villa, created the odd decent chance and were beaten by two counter attacks speared by one of the fastest players in the league. We beat Reading and played brilliantly for 15/20 mins at the start of each half. Did well against Arsenal for the majority of the game before ref/linesman decided it was time to give Arsenal 3 points, and Swansea performance was decent enough.
