pete 318 Posted May 10, 2013 In the most important part of the season we have papers pssibly unsettling our important players Pulis with Pilkington and now Laudrup with Johnson. This cannot help us to stay in the Prem. Hope McNally puts a premium on these players to these clubs if the worst is to happen, they are contracted for next 2/3 years. birchfest 397 Posted May 10, 2013 I highly doubt anyone will actually leave from the starting 11, fringe and deadwood will be off but in the unlikely event they will end up going for more than they are worth, £4.2 million for Johnson who we got on a free would be excellent buisness to be honest... without getting into a debate about his ability etc. We could probably get a decent replacement like Bridcutt for example and still have change out of that. We have been faily smart with our contracts and so we hold all the cards, let the vultures circle... and they had better have packed their checkbooks!
