match thread-city v wba

Recommended Posts

Was about to say can someone teach Snodgrass to add some consistency to his game as he''s the most frustrating player ever.

BUT GET IN SNODDY!!!

P.S

Pilks needs the ball more, he''s pure class. And looks like he''s on form today.

I know WBA haven''t done much going forward yet, but Ryan Bennett looking solid again. I was always bemused by the criticism he got, but the last 3/4 games he''s looked good hasn''t he?

The real test will be to see what he''s like playing not alongside Bassong.

Didn''t he score one quite like that a few years ago against Southampton?

Found it (poor quality) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIkuyEViaf4

Great first half - although we should have had at least one more goal with all the chances we created.

Slightly cynical tackle there from Howson to get the booking, but could have been VERY important because of what he may have stopped from happening...
Great first half - although we should have had at least one more goal with all the chances we created.
Yep, makes you wonder why we haven''t played like this for most of the season instead of leaving it until so much was at stake...

Good first half like last week, but this time we get the goal.

Keep on playing like that and WBA don''t have a chance. But got to keep it up. We almost did last week, but were hit badly on the break twice. Can''t let that happen again, hopefully that doesn''t mean just sitting back as we are improving going forward and seriously limiting WBA.

Performance of the season so far? This is how we set up to play last year, a defensive line not constantly parked on the penalty box, aggressive pressing, fast direct passing kept on the floor and crossing at every opportunity. The fans love it, the team looks happy and motivated so why the hell haven''t we been playing this way all year!? We''d be safe by now!

Looking good so far. Liking the pressure we''re putting on - just need more of those effots. An early goal in the second half would be nice.
