Man City Team Value

Recommended Posts

I know it''s pretty well documented but when you add up the eye watering amount it cost to put that Man City team together it''s unbelievable!

Hart - 1.5m

Richards - -

Lescott - 22m

Kolarov - 17m

Zabaleta - 6.5m

Milner - 26m

Yaya Toure - 24m

Nasri - 22m

Rodwell - 15m

tevez - 25.5m

Dzeko - 27m

Silva - 25m

Aguero - 38m

Total - £249.5m!

* Yes I know I am sad!

I know the two things aren''t related or linked, but imagine if Man City hadn''t signed Milner and had instead invested in homeless shelters in Manchester.  They''d be no worse off and the country might be a little bit better. In fact, Dzeko (plays about eight games a season) could have been swapped for a soup kitchen and "SOS Bus".

Hard to believe Hart was signed for just 1.5M!

Values for most of our team are a little hard to come by so may need to be taken with a pinch of salt;

Ruddy - 0.5m

Martin - Free

Whittaker - Free

R.Bennet - 3m?

Garrido - 1.3m

Pilkington - 2m

Johnson - Free

Howson - 1m or 2m

Snodgrass - 2.5m

Hoolahan - 0.25m

Holt - 0.6m

tettey - 1.3m

E.Bennet - 1.5m

Becchio - 2.5m (based on Morrisons transfer fee)

Total: 17.45m (Damn the Bechhio sub!)

So our whole team cost less than Milner alone...

Even harder to believe then as he in fact cost only 100k!

I did later read that though the whole package was supposed to amount to £1.5m (I suppose some might be sell on fees?)

Becchio, Snodgrass and Pilkington fee''s seem a little high. I seem to remember rumours of £1.5mil for Pilkington and Snodgrass.

I''m not sure it really makes up for the whole slave labour thing they have going on back home but y''know, its a start.
