Man City vs Norwich Match Thread

Recommended Posts

I think we''re seeing the positives and negatives of our team today. Great goalscoring when given the freedom, the ability is clearly there.

But then we''ve also conceded two fairly sloppy goals

Unbelievable. I hope all those who said Howson wasn''t up to it earlier this season are flagellating themselves right now. He''s been superb for the last month.

David Cuffley says Howson''s best work is done in the opposition half. Well, that run started two yards inside the Norwich half!

Well what a hell of a result! Couldn''t see that happening in a million years. After all that sweating over the last month and we end up 11th.....As SAL would say " Football ? B*oody hell !! " ( and with his lot drawing 5-5 at The Hawthorns he could be right )

Brilliant, brilliant display although Man C were clearly not at the races.
11th place finish so we''ve improved on last season despite our horrendous post-Christmas run.
Well done lads, brilliant final week of the season.
7 goals in the last 2 games, 6 points and an FA Youth Cup trophy. Brilliant 7 days for the club.
WBA 5 Man Utd 5. You can tell there is not too much riding on some of these games...
Well that''s 11th instead of 15th for us. Do you still get more money for each league position, or did they change that?

Yep - approx 755k per position or something so that''s roughly 3mill which McNally has said (on Twitter) will go straight into the transfer pot.

I may not have liked the football, but you can''t argue with the final league position can you?Let''s hope that we see more of the attacking play we''ve had in the last few weeks instead of a return to the uber defensive dross from before. [y]
