Indy_Bones 441 Posted May 11, 2013
He was trying out everyone.
And having seen that Vaughan looked our most dangerous striker in pre-season as well as our top scorer during that period as well, Hughton made the call to send him on loan for the season instead...If you can work out the logic behind that one then fair play to you Herman, because I said at the time and now - it was a sh**ty decision... Herman 9,713 Posted May 11, 2013 He scored in the first couple of games and then nothing for the rest. Hardly the signs of a striker in a blistering vein of form. He was third or fourth choice behind the others. Not very reliable and we had to make space for the 25 man rules. Pretty obvious choice especially if a striker was on his way**This end bit didn''t happen which we all agree was a big misfortune.
Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted May 11, 2013 Injury has blighted his time here. Would he have played much if he had stayed, I doubt it. Becchio has 19 Championship goals this season and he hasn''t got a look in.Hoot is incapable of seeing beyond a superior player to weaker squad players who actually offer different qualities in game. It is a poor aspect of his management.
CambridgeCanary 0 Posted May 11, 2013 Bit of a stretch here but given the strong rumour about his partner moving the kids back to merseyside, perhaps he asked for a move up north?Who knows? I don''t. Neither do you. Perhaps before jumping to conclusions and finding reasons to beat Hughton, a little humility is appropriate. Also, don''t forget Hughton thoughts he had signed Frazier Campbell who is a very similar but better player.

Buh 0 Posted December 3, 2013 You do know Vaughan didn''t want to be in Norfolk right? Doesn''t matter if he''s worth as much as Bale.
Wings of a Sparrow 1,409 Posted December 3, 2013 The other angle of course is we didn''t spend £6m on a crock.
