mungo munchkin 0 Posted April 21, 2013 What buffoon would buy a £15 pound shirt with only four games to go and the new kit is coming out soon.
Gingerpele 0 Posted April 21, 2013 Someone who wants a new shirt, but isn''t bothered about paying £40+ for a slightly different design in a couple months time. What''s the point of buying a shirt at all if its only going to be used for a season? What''s the point in buying a shirt full stop? Unless its to show your love for super Brad.
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted April 21, 2013 Is it now illegal to wear a football shirt outside the season it is used by the club?

Houston Canary 0 Posted April 21, 2013 I still wear my flybe sponsored shirt. Nobody around here (Houston) knows how old it is. It fits, it has the team logo and colors, and it strikes up the odd conversation when I''m out on game day after a victory. So I''m the type of buffoon that would buy one. I''ll be in Norwich this July. Please reserve me 2 THIS SEASON jerseys, one for me and one for my lady.
Thirsty Lizard 3,155 Posted April 21, 2013 Black away shirt is cool. Got mine yesterday. :)
Old Shuck 183 Posted April 21, 2013 *Gasp* And not only that, some people who were at the game yesterday were wearing trainers from Nike''s 2012 range! I mean, really?? A Norwich shirt is a Norwich shirt. Loads of different ones on view yesterday-FlyBe, Poll & Withey, the old 50''s/60''s retro effort. All great to see. How different is next seasons going to be to this seasons? It''ll still be yellow and green. Aviva will still be the sponsor. Errea will still be the manufacturer. There''ll be a tweak around the collar, a fiddle with the trim on the neckline or the sleeves. But little else. I got this seasons and it''ll do for next season as well. And if I could get hold of one of the Asics shirts, I''d buy and wear that as well.
AJ 1,218 Posted April 21, 2013 I only buy a new shirt when I feel I need one. The price is excessive for the product. I wouldn''t spend 40 quid on a shift from the high-street either. So yeah, I''ve bought one in the sale as I think it''s good value for money - but I won''t be buying the new kit
blahblahblah 2 Posted April 21, 2013 I still wear my colmans one. I guess this makes me a bad fan. I''ve bought several since though.
waggers 0 Posted April 21, 2013 This thread has inspired me to try on my old blue shirt we had for our European season. Thought I would wear it to the Villa game. It seems to have shrunk an awful lot!
yoda 0 Posted April 21, 2013 My son didn''t like this seasons shirt much even though he was given one for his birthday he wore it about twice so I bought it off him for a tenner last week Bargain !

kingsway 94 Posted April 21, 2013 Blatant unapologetic commercialism/ profiteering! Yesterday I saw a guy wearing one of the retro 1959 shirt and that looks better than the modern kit! Also saw another guy wearing a retro early 1980''s kit! Oh and had a look in the club shop and these shirts are as overpriced as the modern versions!
Mister Chops 7 Posted April 21, 2013 It''s getting hotter at this time of year, £15 sounds like a small price to pay if you want to drench a new polyester shirt in sweat and keep your existing one "nice" for eBay/attic etc.
SwindonCanary 455 Posted April 21, 2013 The current shirt is just £15 for a limited period, So are they gonna be more expensive next season when the new kit is released ?
