can u sit down please 0 Posted April 27, 2013

We wont beat Villa if the full backs are not allowed to go past the half way line. Here is an idea, lets set up to impose our strenths on the opposition rather than to nulify there''s. Hughton is so afraid of what the opposition may do that he keeps the players on a leach. Do not break position, keep it tight and we may scrape a draw here.
Please try to understand that at home, we don''t play the same way as we play away from home.
Are you serious?? Up until Reading our home and away set up have been the same. 1 up top against most teams. Poor. very poor.

Hence we were found out when our golden run of 4 wins and 6 draws came to an end.Lost cause? why? Realist maybe.
Badger 2,405 Posted April 27, 2013 I didn''t expect to get anything at Stoke today and knew that it would be a terrible game - I didn''t even bother to watch it. All the hysteria displayed over recent form and this result in particular is totally disproportionate.Ricardo has hit the nail on the head with his point about Turner and Bassong - that is the real issue for us and is a cause for concern. Bennett and Barnett as a pairing don''t fill me with huge confidence, especially against Benteke and Lukaku!
norfolkbroadslim 223 Posted April 27, 2013 If Bassong''s injured it''ll likely be Bennett and Martin with Barnett on the bench.
Highland Canary 76 Posted April 27, 2013 It''s not been that much fun on the road this season. At least only half as many of us had to suffer Stoke away this season. For those who went last year and not this the performance today was more disappointing than that of last season. Draw whatever inference you wish.
