Charlie Wyett on Ruddy

Recommended Posts

Not sure if he knows something we don''t or if he''s working on old information, but Wyett has said on Twitter tonight that Ruddy won''t be involved tomorrow.

Hope he''s wrong, would give everyone a lift to have him back.

Well we probably won''t know until 2:00 tomorrow. But it''s entirely possible he does know something we don''t.

Would be great to see Ruddy, even on the bench. Can''t see why he wouldn''t be for enough to be on the cb, wasn''t it three weeks ago he played in an U21 game? I assume he''d been training before that as well.

I would be surprised if Bunn gets dropped without a howler, but at the same time would utterly welcome Ruddy''s return

There''s a difference (especially for a goal keeper) in being physically fit to last 90 minutes and being in good enough form to play at this level. He played a single U21 game 3 weeks ago. None of this means that Ruddy is playing better than Bunn in training. All we know is he has been training and that he has played a single U21 game against Man City which we lost 3-1.
All we know as fans is Ruddy''s form before he got injured and Bunn''s form since. We do not see either in training so it''s hard for us to know if Ruddy is better than Bunn right now.
