Seen the replays of both - definite penalty, although the foul does technically start outside the area, he brings him down inside - how on earth he''s not sent off I don''t understand - should absolutely be a second yellow.

As for Benteke, he reacted to Bassong and pushed his chest. Given a yellow, not really malicious, but could technically have been a red

I know we make some silly mistakes, and fail to take advantage of situations. And often lack a sense of any real ability for no real reason. But Sunderland, Arsenal and even Stoke games ruined by referee decisions. Could have won two of those, and who knows about the other because decisions weren''t given in first half that would have changed the shape of the game.

Thats 5-8 points lost out of three games in what, six or seven matches? Add in decent performances against Swansea and Reading, and it makes our recent form actually seem pretty decent, just littered with silly play/mistakes from us and poor refereeing.

If he could cross, pass, take a free kick right we might have scored three or four already.

Will have to see it again from a clearer angle, looked like a hand to the chest - but you may well be right

Ooooh dear, this isn''t good news

With knowing we''ll get nothing on the last day - it means unless we win today, we''d definitely need to be West Brom

I think that''s the problem though, and in games we go a goal down we never look like having the ideas to create two goals

Not really.

Unless Villa beat Chelsea at home. It will be between Villa and Wigan on final day.

Play littered with mistakes yes - especially the inability to pass the ball accurately more than 5 yards is very frustrating... on that basis it''s clear that Hoolahan, Holt and Snodgrass''s time with Norwich is up. At least we know Holt''s replacement has been lined up....

5 minutes to go and E. Bennet on - hopefully we can keep this point as WBA are doing us no favors ..
