Official Unofficial Sunderland match thread!

Recommended Posts

Great spell of pressure topped off with a nice goal. C''mon lads, keep it up!

Also, Benno looks so much better down the right. For those saying he''s not good enough, check out some of those deliveries - we''ve been missing those in recent weeks!

Love it, header from Wes :D

Although to be fair, Kamara''s header was going in.

We''ve taken the lead, Sunderland don''t look great in attack at the moment. Not really finding a way through. We''re looking alright overall.

Kamara in the air has taken Sunderland by surprise; Benno is getting in crosses from open play; Howson is running well on and off the ball.

Sunderland fans will really turn against their side soon, we need to keep them nervous.

Well done Wes!
If Carrow Road is like a library, this place is like a morgue.
My thoughts exactly. It''s not like the sound is being lost over TV, because when the home crowd do pipe up its quite loud.

Turner/bunn! What a balls up!

Just when you bought it was safe to smile. Brilliant. And he takes Wes off !!! And it''s goodnight from Norwich.

Replays are inconclusive from what I''ve seen, commentators say it was chest but I''m not so sure.

You never, ever put your keeper in that position, R Martin was standing right next to Turner and by far the safest option.

Now we have to defend for an hour

Good luck Lee Camp!probably the worst decision of the season from Foy... he might as well have been looking the other way he was so far off play!

Wes safest option to take off sadly, Kamara is playing OKay, you don''t want to upset the midfield, so sadly, despite looking sharp and scoring a nice goal he has to be the one

It hit his elbow from what I saw. Definite red, sadly.

He could have gone with his head, or his chest with his arms out of the way.

None of that excuses the mistake by turner though. Awful!

seen it again, clear that Foy cannot see clearly but Bunn puts his arms up, never a good thing to do. Should surely have consulted his linesman at least?!

Whatever the decision, Turner created the problem with a header straight out of the Gary Doherty play book.

Why is that those kind of decisions never happen to the team we are playing only us ?

fellas take off the yellow tinted glasses, if that has been down the other end you would be screaming for a red, it came off his lower arm

bunn screwed up big time

the good news is that sunderland look pretty 5h1te and the crowd are quiet and on their back. Heres hoping city have the legs to see out the rest of the game with ten
