Skerritt 0 Posted March 20, 2013 Bunn is out unjustly and the appeal didn''t work.Snodgrasd picked up his 5th booking for arguing his case that it wasn''t a penalty when it clearly wasn''t.Holt picked up his 5th booking for what seemed like an honest attempt to get the ball. Without them a result at Wigan is looking more and more doubtful

Skerritt 0 Posted March 20, 2013 Does that mean Snoddy and Holt can play?

AJ 1,218 Posted March 20, 2013 A lunge like that could have indeed been a red, no chance of getting the ball and an obvious sign of frustration.Mignolet did him a favour by not making a meal of it, otherwise he''d have been off
star_manic 0 Posted March 20, 2013 just looked at your link Zak. only three PL platers are currently suspended, Bunn and Evertons pair, Pienaar and Fellaini.
Fozzie 0 Posted March 20, 2013 I think the important question that needs answering is whether or not Holt & Snodgrass are available for the Wigan game.

Lavanche 0 Posted March 20, 2013 Holt kept his body on the ground when trying to get ball. It was always going to be yellow. We would see red almost in every game if that was anywhere near red.It just looked worse than it was becouse big man went for the ball against goalie who throw his body on the way,I personaly have never seen red from those situations and sometimes player has really had no chance to get for the ball. In this case Holt even got it out of keepers hands.

Thirsty Lizard 3,155 Posted March 20, 2013 Mignolet didn''t writhe around after the challenge from Holt - credit to him for that.Neither did John Ruddy writhe around after a very similar challenge from Paul Scholes in the last minute of the Man Utd home game. Credit to John Ruddy for that.
Skerritt 0 Posted March 20, 2013 It was an attempt for the ball. If someone had the ball at their feet and someone tried to tackle like that, it would be a good tackle. Holt slid in when mignolet was standing up but the contact was made when mignolet dived on the ball. It was an effort to get the ball.
