How ever I couldn''t laugh and feel jolly about the performance and so felt like doing something silly. As I''m not too worldly, I had never had my ears assaulted by Gazza''s rehash of Fog on the tyne and thought I should have a go at making it a touch better. Maybe some of you clever folks could add to it. Also, sorry if its a bit long but there we go. Its so long that i don''t think we''d be able to sing it while the match is in progress as there would probably be action such as shots on goal that would disrupt the singing before we had the chance of finishing it. We do need some new original songs though, and i have to say i''m a bit disappointed that we didn''t come up with anything original for Ashton and instead resorted to the steeno song.
