stoke canary 0 Posted February 21, 2013 Joined Leicester on loan and signed new contract with Spurs till 2017,they must rate him !!
Not Nigel 0 Posted February 21, 2013 I rated him, as a 19 year old kid who is four years of Championship football away from being a Premier League player with an England cap to his name. It is a stupid signing which was wrong for the club, wrong for the player. He''ll do OK at Leicester and end up a good player in the future. The signing just never made any sense, the Championship is where he should be. Looks like Spurs ''recalled him'' to save them, Kane, and Norwich the face, we probably sent him back in reality. Dubai Mark 0 Posted February 21, 2013 At the end of the day he was a very low risk loan signing, had some bad luck with us, very little game time and the circumstances just didnt work out.....he moves on and we move on...
RvWs 4 year contract 0 Posted February 21, 2013 Hoootun out etc etc.And repeat... [:|]
stoke canary 0 Posted February 21, 2013 Maybe things would have been differant IF he had taken 1 of the 2 chances he had v West ham,Perhaps we should have knownfrom then how things would turn out !!

Blimey we have a thread running currently about 3 players who scored the other night who will never ever pull on an NCFC shirt again and another one about someone who scored last night. Still i suppose it takes the focus off Lambert and Villa.
Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted February 21, 2013 Kane offered nothing much to shout about during his limited appearances for Norwich. A run of games in the Championship will do him good.
Budapest Canary 154 Posted February 21, 2013 Leicester seems to be a happy taker for City''s cast-off. While I rated deLaet (who looked sharp made some costly errors), I doubt Kane will be a big hit with the Foxes. Time will tell. I see no harm in taking a look at some of our ex players or the ones on loan...
Not Nigel 0 Posted February 21, 2013 The problem with Ritchie deLaet is that he thought he was Paulo f*cking Maldini with the way that he''d try and play the ball out of the defence no matter what. If he was willing to just give the ball a big whack once a while he''d have made far fewer mistakes.
Largey24 0 Posted February 21, 2013 Kane just didn''t fit into our system of one up front. He wasn''t quick or strong enough. He is more of an intelligent player who will find himself in the correct positions and shot the ball home. A shot of confident and a run of games with Leicester and I''m sure he will prove to be a good player.
Mungo Bumpkin 0 Posted February 21, 2013 Kane was useless, one of the worst to pull on the yellow and green in recent years (and he''s up against some stiff opposition in that category). My guess is that he''ll barely figure for Leicester before another non-specific training ground injury sends him back to Lahhdahhnn. Goodnes knows why Spurs have given him a long contract and what he''s supposed to do. Perhaps he''s the changing room fluffer - he did have abnormally rosey cheeks. 87canary 0 Posted February 21, 2013 I can see it already..... He''ll score loads for Leicester then someone on here (Mongo, Wiz etc. one of the usual trolls) who constantly slagged him off for months will say ''I knew we should''ve kept him''.....

Its normal, its perfectly acceptable, nothing wrong with it what so ever.
It's Character Forming 1,204 Posted February 22, 2013 When I saw Kane against West Ham I felt he was woefully lacking in confidence, and very tentative. He could well do ok in the Champ, and is young enough to have potential at higher level. For us it was worth a punt in case he was one of those youngsters who can come through and realise their potential straight away. Also I''m interested in any recent City players, even more so in current City players who are on loan elsewhere and scoring goals etc.
Syteanric 1 Posted February 22, 2013 Waaahh boo.. champions league chasing spurs give him a 3 year Deal.. blah blah... next england striker.. blah blah..Championship bound City should have played him....best player since Huckerby blah blah...Damn you Hootun, Mcnally and co! taking this club down! Herman 11,136 Posted February 26, 2013 I''m far too lazy for that. I should have started one for Vaughan.
Not Nigel 0 Posted February 27, 2013 "For us it was worth a punt in case he was one of those youngsters who can come through and realise their potential straight away"Well by the looks of it Spurs had a recall clause so can we assume that if Kane had lit up the Premier League for us, Spurs would have recalled him anyway? ROBFLECK 134 Posted February 27, 2013 Well, I didn''t rate him while he was here... Hope he does well in the championship...but it was a mistake getting him on loan in september...bad move by us, bad move for him.
Jim Smith 2,610 Posted February 27, 2013 The kid obviously has some talent but as someone has noted above was the wrong signing at the wrong time for us in that we really needed some genuine firepower at the time not to take a punt on a 19 year old kid.I suspect he will do quite well at leicester and that will be indicative of the fact Leicester are doing well and presumably therefore create a fair few chances in their games but also that the championship is a lower level where pace is not quite so crucial. Its the right level for Kane at this moment in time.
Budapest Canary 154 Posted February 27, 2013
He tripped over and the ball went in off his @rse!
As a matter of fact, it was header from within the five yard box following a corner. (All three of Leicester''s goals came from headers, suggesting Blackburn''s defensive weakness in that department.) Can be seen here alongside Vaughan''s goal against Burnley http://www.101greatgoals.com/goals/england/leicester-head-up-the-table-after-blackburn-win-huddersfield-win-1-0-at-burnley/
