these people would criticise Michelangelos Mona Lisa painting if they saw it when it was only half finished. you have to accept that a small portion of intellectually challenged morons will always react this way.

Agree with OP 100%, should we stay up it''ll as great an achievement as anything from the last three seasons (in my opinion!)
Surely securing our premiership status was the primary target. Any extra placing was a hard fought bonus.
How do you do one without the other ?

Given no one ever knows how many points will be needed to avoid relegation until maybe the last games or two all the team can do is achieve as many points as and where possible.

That CANNOT be seperated from finishing as high up tthe table as possible ergo all the witless drivel about being ever so umble is just that .... witless drivel

That point was clearly illustrated with yesterdays penalty. Had we have scored then we would have been two points nearer to 9th place and moved us up to 10th place. How is that not us trying to reach the highest place possible and is only about avoiding relegation ?

The point still stands.

Avoiding relegation is a consequence of finishing as far up the table as possible,  NOT the cause - as we simply do not know what that total will be.
