Hannibal II 0 Posted January 26, 2013 Thats what anyone is if they think we will get anything out of the Spurs game. Will be another "Liverpool" all over again doubt we will get out of our own half.

Gingerpele 0 Posted January 26, 2013 Your deluded if you aren''t even open to the possibility that like the Arsenal game an unexpected turn of fortunes couldn''t happen again. Now, its really up to Hugton how the Spurs game ends up.He can let the players heads drop, not work really hard to bring in a new face Monday/Tuesday ready for the game and let us get thrashed. Or he can do his best to spur the players on, get a response and get back to playing solid football. The worst thing about the Newcastle game was, because they were pretty inept themselves, we didn''t really have to do much in defence, so our defensive performance couldn''t get too much praise. And then missing Bassong we fell to pieces against Liverpool.

Hannibal II 0 Posted January 26, 2013 I will quiet happily admit i was wrong if we get a point from the game, If we get hammered like i say we will are you going to come out and say fair enough? no if we don''t get anything you say "no one expects us to get anything anyway" so your really trying to make it a lose lose situation. I would love a pint of what ever your drinking cause you clearly are high on happy juice. We are in free fall
Gingerpele 0 Posted January 26, 2013 What? How do you know what i''ll say after if we lose to Spurs? It hasn''t happened yet...No I will definitely not say ''no one expects us to get anything anyway'' because I expect us to get something. I will be bitterly disappointed if we perform just as badly on Wednesday, today is bad enough after last week, and after the week before, but if we do it again I will be very very very very disappointed, probably even annoyed. Hannibal II 0 Posted January 26, 2013 So if we lose and and have only taken 1 point from 21 would you say all is rosy? how long are we going to have to play like a shambles for you to turn to the dark side?
Mr Brownstone 0 Posted January 26, 2013 Ooooh, how about some new crayons? Nice chunky ones so they can''t get stuck up your nose. We wouldn''t want that.

We could argue over this all night, but essentially what it comes down to is we have different personalities when it comes to football.I have no said everything is rosy. If we lose to Spurs I won''t be pleased, if we play well and lose i''ll be disappointed but hopeful of a result against QPR, but if we lose both games, even if we play very well in both, well it will be shocking and i''d be happy to admit we are in trouble of relegation. But the FACT remains, that despite six without a win, we are still 7 points off relegation, only 3 points less than we started going into the WBA game. That is quite amazing, and its why we will survive.I really don''t expect enough of Reading, Southampton, QPR, Villa, Newcastle & Wigan to be consistent enough to finish on more points than us. I wouldn''t be too shocked to see us finish 17th, but 18th, 19th or 20th, I just can''t see it at this stage. If we don''t win one of the next two I will probably have to re asses that view. I may become despondent after a loss but until we have the letter R next to our name on the league table I will always hope that we can do it, every game I will hope and pray we win and there''s always a part of me that thinks we can win no matter what.
