If they are hugely effective, score bags of goals and take Norwich into a strong position come December then it may convince the board that a decent striker[s] really is the missing piece of the jigsaw and, as pointed out, persuade them to take a gamble and spend a large sum on a proven goalscorer. If, on the other hand, they score loads of goals between them and we are still losing matches then it will be clear that there are other areas need strengthening and the club''s limited financial resources can be directed elsewhere for the time being. Whatever the outcome of their loan spells, we are still in a much stronger position than we were in 10 days ago. Away Day Specialist 0 Posted September 10, 2003 Since Huckerby is 27 it seems that you cannot extend his loan at the end of the three months, it is either a permanent deal or return back to Man City.
