Our wingers are clever(slow) enough to make their way, and Wes also. Holt''s reputation for diving means that it''s hard for him.? Look how half-hearted we were in tackling when Bale ran at speed towards our goal.Why is it that we have had no penalty for so many months? So often GH is out of position and Wes just carries the ball from wing to wing. Saw an improvement in the Spurs game where Tettey seemed to bomb forward a couple of times in the first half. It's Character Forming 1,204 Posted February 2, 2013 Frankly if he gave a pen to samba he should have given fouls to holt almost every time he went for a high ball and was sandwiched by two of their players.I was at the game so haven''t seen any replays. I didn''t see anything on samba which remotely looked like a pen, just what you''d expect when several strong men are competing for theball. whereas their pen was spot on, but there was also a very clear push on Becchio which was equally deserving of a pen IMO Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Gingerpele 0 Posted February 2, 2013 Thats what I first thought kingsway, but after the replay, I thought it was a clear push and Becchio went down as you would from a push from Ben Haim. He just just turn/look at him, unnecessarily push with both arms and Becchio understandably went over.But then on another occasion, Turner was bear hugging Samba, while Bassong tugged his arm.
