Canaries for Ever 0 Posted February 17, 2005 http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.asp?hlid=256410&cpid=8&CLID=45&lid=&title=Bottom+four+side+to+make+history&channel=Premiership The table at the bottom gives some food for thought! Are we therfore suffering in our middle-of-the-table games?
Splendid Rush 0 Posted February 17, 2005 Food for thought, but this may look very different after we''ve played away at Palace and Saints.
ZLF 271 Posted February 17, 2005 It supports what I have been saying - coming top of this league of four is meaningless; not finishing bottom is probably more important. Leeds ''won'' it last year and were relegated - the key is how we perform against the blackburns to villas of the world; and our record here HAS to improve with only a win against Bolton to our name.If we cant get wins against Citeh, Brum or Charlton then we simply dont deserve to stay up.OTBC
Salopian 1 Posted February 17, 2005 The Sky mini league could be misleading in one respect. The games the bottom four have played against each other are spread over the season to date. We played the Palace centuries ago!It could be argued that WBA have a better manager, some extra players, and are playing better of late. Our form has slumped, apart from the Everton game. There is everything to play for, and we need to get back to playing as we were earlier in the season. The mini league could look very different at the end of the season. Relegation could even be avoided over the last four or five games.
Tumbleweed 106 Posted February 17, 2005 Zipper- realistically we have to beat all three of those if we are to survive! I don''t fancy our chances against Saints who have looked v good recently (with the confidence of a cup run) and Palace who actually put Arsenal under some pressure before the wonder goals and stick to a well organised plan. With luck neither Birm nor Fulham will have anything to play for in their last two games.
