What 3 Questions would you ask Hughton given the chance?

Recommended Posts

Not that any of us will ever get the chance but there must be 100''s of questions we would like to ask Hughton. What would yours be. Only 3 per poster

Why don''t you make earlier substitutions when it seems obvious to nearly every single fan that the players on the pitch just aren''t working (in reference to many a game this season).

Why can''t we defend without Bassong.

Why is Bradley Johnson so amazing.

I''d only ask one.

Why in the name of all things holy do you not play the one man in our squad who can actually pass the bleedin'' ball?!

Why do you refuse to play two up top? Even if the other player up top is not as good as you''d hoped, it''s better than Holt being left high and dry because you''ve told the other players to get well back.

Why do you refuse to play Howson in his correct position? Contrary to popular belief, he can do a damn fine job there. I didn''t imagine it, he actually did once upon a time. He is currently a wasted talent and flavour of the season scapegoat due to this amateur incompetence.

Will you ever have the stones to apologise to the fans (especially the ones that travelled) when you instigate such a shocking performance? I know I would, it would go a long way to make us feel better at least.

This is in no way intended as a post saying i want Hughton out, I''d have thought of three even if Lambert had been in charge.

1) Why dont we actually go out to win away games, rather than setting up to contain the opposition?

2) Why everyweek do we and possibly the players have to hear how more ability the opposition has than us in your interviews, it cant be a good thing for the team to hear even if it''s trying to keep is fans realistic.

3) Why no subsitutions until to late to really impact on a game.

Why did you sign Bunn?

Why do you always talk up the opposition?

Why did you not by a pacey flair player over the summer?

Why do you only play 11 players, when other teams have 14 ?

Why don''t you bring substitutes on early enough to make a difference when things aren''t working ?

Why can you only make like-for-like substitutions ( i.e. why not take off a defender and put on an attacker when we''re losing ) ?

Good thread for brief catharsis.

I''d ask:

1) What is it that you''re seeing in this formation that nobody else is seeing?

2) When we''re already two-nil down are you sticking with the formation because you think it''s likely to stop us conceding more or because you genuinely think it''s giving us the best opportunity to get back in the game and score at least three?

3) What would David Fox have to do to get a game? Is he simply a player you don''t rate and will therefore never pick regardless of how well he''s played in the past or on the rare occasions he gets a few minutes of game time?

1. Did you exchange coats with Brendan Rogers at full-time?

2. Have you got a window seat on the plane back to Norwich?

3. Did you get stuck in the turmoil of the snow induced gridlock in the city on Tuesday afternoon/evening?

I totally agree with the above !!! even playing the Murphy twins today would have at least presented us with some flare and excitement !!!

only one for me

why do we keep reverting back to this so negative, deep gameplan in the grim hope of scrapping a nil-nil

we have no way of releiving pressure of our back four who are not strong enough to withstand pressure for 90mins
