ZEMAS TENDON 0 Posted February 18, 2005 I think it is time to change the formation and team about (as much as we can with the injuries) Now personally i think we should go back to the diamond formation as that co-insided with our best performances.. now i no we lacked width but now we are playing stuart out wide when he is not a winger..so tuck him into midfield with safri francis and jonsson
AJ 1,359 Posted February 18, 2005 does it matter, Stuart himself said: "I can play allover the pitch, but i think Nigel Wants me to play in midfield as my main role"
nolegs 0 Posted February 18, 2005 We need the diamond back, like I need a hole in the head, Zema its not just your tendons you have a problem with!!
ZEMAS TENDON 0 Posted February 18, 2005 So NOLEGS what bright idea formation have you got in mind.. carry on with the formation that leaks the most goals in the prem or try something different... your the expert
DumbleDelia is Magic 0 Posted February 18, 2005 The diamond?? Sweet Jesus no. Why revert back to a tactic which consistantly failed to deliver? We need to stick with what we''ve got and just cut out the basic mistakes. I.e. not marking up at set pieces, not taking our chances etc
ZEMAS TENDON 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Revert back to a tatics which failed.. what 0-0 away to spurs.. 2-2 newcastle.. 2-2 portsmouth.. OR 3-0 aston villa the list goes on and on.. playing the diamond formation does not mean marking at set pieces or not taking our chances
Anderz 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Think we should be looking to stop the flow of goals against us more than looking to overload the attacking part of our game... I think a 5 man defence with two wingbacks, two central midfielders would assist in creating a good base on which to go forward... Hux in front of the two midfielders with a free reign in which to roam with Ashton and either Jarvis, McKenzie or Jonson playing as out and out strikers would be able to create enough mischief and subsequent chances.
