How about a loan move for Marko Marin

Recommended Posts

No speculation here, just a suggestion. This guy obviously has talent and is one of the quickest players in the prem, would be a great addition to add competition for our wingers. We lack anyone with pace and directness (Bennett is the closest we have) and the desire to want to beat their man on the outside, Marin would for sure do a job with that.

ESPN suggest he could be back off to germany for the remainder of the season, try and force his way back in to the German squad, however, i imagine that Chelsea would be more willing to let him come here.

Also, how does the loan system work, is it just 2 domestic loans all season, or at the same time, or two long term domestic loans and x amount of short term loans??

Why do people ignore Pilks pace?

Ok he''s not sprinter, but he''s certainly not slow. And is pretty good at getting past the defender. And is certainly pretty direct.

But yeah he''d probably be decent to have on loan, doubt Chelsea are really that bothered about loaning him out to another Prem club. If he''s wanting first team football, he''ll probably go back to where he knows.

"Marin beats one man... beats two men... gets to the byline.... waits.... waits a bit longer.... and a bit longer.... and crosses it into the box where Grant Holt is just arriving along with eight opposition defenders, and that''s a goal kick."
