BroadstairsR 2,138 Posted January 24, 2013 Does anybody have any information about the injuries to both Whittaker and Morison? I think I must have missed something posted about these. Holty clearly needs a run-out on Saturday, Bassong will benefit from a few extra days to be ready for Spurs are the two above anywhere near the game yet? HillsboroughCanary 0 Posted January 24, 2013 Apparently Whittaker''s been back in training since Monday, and could feature at the weekend. Morison''s a bit further off. Taken from twitter feed of one of the PinkUn journos at the press conference earlier today...Ben
BroadstairsR 2,138 Posted January 24, 2013 Thanks Ben. I will welcome Whittaker''s return especially. Hopefully a bit of a run out against Luton to gain sharpness for the Tottenham game.
Proper Charlie 0 Posted January 24, 2013 Physioroom.com said that they were both due back (training) i assume on 26th Jan, obviously Whittaker is ahead of schedule which is great news.
Dubai Mark 0 Posted January 24, 2013 agree, Whittaker has been a huge miss.........I much prefer the CH back four of Whittaker, Bassong, Turner and Garrido over any combination that includes any of PL''s defensive signings......even though I rate Russell Martin as excellent cover. Canary Wundaboy 1,358 Posted January 24, 2013 I think there''s a lot of merit in the idea of playing Russell Martin up front...
