Benteke would have loved him here.

Just wanted to say as much as I dislike Villa, they did out play us last night and those who say we were in it up to the second goal, well not really, they created far more chances and Bunn did well to keep us in the game.

But I was so impressed with Benteke, his movement, work rate and ability was there to see, if only we could find a striker like this in January.

Don''t concur with your analysis of the game Indy, but totally agree about Benteke. Thought he was absolutely excellent. Really strong, great in the air, quick and a good touch too.

At the moment I don''t think we could quite afford a player like him. He cost Villa £7 million and is probably on £60,000 a week or something like. However, if we can stay up this year then we can begin to be able to look at splashing this sort of cash if the right player comes along.

He had a good game last night.  I heard a rumour he only signed for Villa cause he thought they were a London team?

Anyway, I disagree with OP''s analysis.  We weren''t great by any stretch, but we had plenty of chances.  The game changed around 60 minutes, when Villa were retaining possession for long periods.  As soon as we won the ball back, we''d give it back to them within 3 or 4 passes.  If only Morro had scored hi 1 on 1 that was onside and missed his offside one eh?

Had it not been for two good saves from Bunn we could have benn 3-1 down at the break, second half we just faded badley, gave the ball away and I agree Villa were not good by any stretch but from my view deserved to win.

On a positive note, Morison looked really good last night, but Johnson and Howson, well I lost count how many times they gave the ball away.
