Yellow Messiah 0 Posted December 20, 2012 "West Brom have taken only one point from their last four games while Norwich are now at the other end of the form table, but that can change so quickly as both clubs well know after such contrasting starts to the season. I can see the Baggies ending their bad run here. In the Premier League, when you go on a good run then one or two players start believing their own publicity and lose focus."Prediction: 2-0 His analysis is almost as good as last week when he "guessed" that Wigan would beat us. BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted December 20, 2012 He is consistent in his constant need to put us down. Why? I ask myself. Was he mugged on the Prince of Wales Road once? I can put up easily with all the others, including Hansen, but Granny Face I detest. Genuinely.

Branston Pickle 4,144 Posted December 20, 2012 Tbh it isn''t unreasonable to predict a home win on Sat, but he certainly does seem to not think a great deal of us; last week was taking the pee rather, but he is entitled to his prediction and logic however strange it may seem to the rest of us... Redders Right Foot 22 Posted December 20, 2012 It''s not unreasonable to think we may lose sat. But when the reason is mostly, they have to lose at some point, and the other team has to win at some point, it gets very f* frustrating that he gets Payed what he does to be a pundit. The score predicting octopus would do better.
K Lo 246 Posted December 20, 2012 So, with Lawro:Norwich have lost previous 6 games :"Norwich are on a losing streak, they''re not going to win this next fixture"Norwich have won previous 6 games :"Norwich are on a winning streak; it won''t last forever, they won''t win the next fixture".What a total muppet. Koreacanary 0 Posted December 21, 2012 Sounds to me like he''s having a bit of a laugh now much like those knobheads on Talksport, are we more easily riled than most fans?
CambridgeCanary 0 Posted December 21, 2012 There is a lot of statistical evidence across a whole range of forecasting including sport, money markets and politics to show that experts are only slightly more accurate than random chance. Pundits are good at analysing past events and at analysing potential issues but rubbish at predicting outcomes. If they get it right it is usually luck as we all get predicitions right sometimes. Discuss his idiocy by all means but do not pay him the mistaken compliment of accepting he is any better placed to predict future fresults than you or I. York Canary 29 Posted December 21, 2012 My 2 year old son knows more than he does. Just look at that table and where Lawro thinks we''d be by now..He rates us worse than any other team pretty much. His own beloved Liverpool he has predicted 4 places up on where they actually are. Look at QPR too!
star_manic 0 Posted December 21, 2012 he has predicted that we will win just twice this season but that koopeearr will win 8 times. despite getting it wrong week after week, this idiot still puts no logical thought into his predictions. I think it is time to raise questions as to the Beebs use of licence payers money. in any other walk of life this moron would be unemployable, and rightly so. star_manic 0 Posted December 21, 2012 i have just realised that the top eight in his prediction league are from the northwest and London. only hammers and Fulham from these regions are not up there.
Yobocop 1,441 Posted December 21, 2012 Perhaps he secretly supports Norwich so predicts they lose so he''s ultra happy when we winIf we were to lose he is like ''oh well Gary, at least I''ve got the two hours worth of Liverpool highlights and analysis to watch''

Mr L aka Anus Face should have gone years ago, totally disinterested, predictable and shows no energy or enthusiasm for the game. It`s a mystery how he is still there. MOTD 2 is a lot more enjoyable when there are different pundits on, even old Jonny Hartson was ok despite his unashamed self publicity and longing looks at savages golden locks! It's Character Forming 1,204 Posted December 21, 2012 Thanks Yellow M - this confirms what most of us have thought for some time, that he is biased against City (and in favour of QPR) as the big areas where he has consistently got his predictions wrong in one direction. Without bias you''d expect the errors to even out over a long period. Looking at the other discrepancies, he has predicted Newcastle and Sunderland would do better than they have, and WBA (over the season so far) wouldn''t do as well as they have. Which are fair enough - I think it is generally a surprise how poorly Newcastle and Sunderland have done, whereas Baggies fans would concede they have over-performed up until a few games back. So I think the reason us City fans are particularly narked by him, is simply because he''s biased against our team.
