3pmkickoff 0 Posted March 1, 2005 Something has died tonight and that thing is hope. Fairytale would say that we''ll beat Fulham on the last day of the season with a last minute goal. The reality is that it''ll be over by then because it was clear tonight that we just aren''t good enough at this present time. What frustrates me most is that earlier in the season we showed signs of being able to compete however that was over by christmas when we''d only won two games.So please can we stop all the posts that say we''ll stay up as we''ll need to win all of our remaining games, top three excluded and there''s been nothing tonight defensively to suggest we''re going to do that.
