The fabled Trouser Snake Gigantus, apparently ones of this size are rather rare, but I see one everyday?[:^)]

I''m fairly confident that Kathy''s favourite snake is none other than Corallus HOLTulanus, a fairly abundant tree boa from S.America that features a strike rate second to none... ;)

I was going along with what you said until I got to the highlighted bit![:O]  You can''t put stuff like that on end, it suggests something and Kathy, well, she be one angry lady.
Unfortunately Harry, Mungo doesn''t answer questions. Makes it easier for him.
Someone who appears to be an attention seeker of the worst kind, but  doesn''t answer questions is using a calculated strategy.  MB sometimes raises  good points -  which show he has a brain, but he is imo trying to manipulate the board in a snide and cunning way.    By trying to appear to be the perfect fan (going to all matches home and away) he is setting himself up to be  a voice of authority.  He has already started to sound more reasonable over the last few weeks and  given the way he has put himself about on here and the way he manipulates people, I would expect him to turn into an apparently much more reasonable character.   But he is someone who does not care about other people  - other fans - and I will not be able to forget that - however his character  evolves, as it surely will.

As I say - a calculated strategy - make a lot of noise and get noticed, then gradually moderate the behaviour until he becomes more accepted.  He has even been a bit more moderate recently when referring to me - and I have taken a lot of c**p from him.     He is after celebrity status on a message board by trampling over decent fans of all kinds - and then trying to work his way in by becoming gradually more reasonable.    Definitely a troll, but worse - a clever troll.

"a clever troll"

I think dear mungo is feeling very insecure. Perhaps he goes on the board so that he feels more intelligent, due to his little deceptive games? Perhaps he is nothing more than an undesirable or unfortunate.

Also LDC, your paragraph is pretty much my case against WIz.

Funny isn''t it.

The difference with wiz is that at least he responds and you can have some kind of dialogue with him.    Mungo? - playing games - and  underhand ones at that.

The problem is the idiots feeding the idiots

The more people who "buy the goods" the more the troll''s lust for attention, and thus greed for it, increases.

Some people just cannot see the truth about these people even when it is in their face.

Can''t disagree that Mungo is clever and to be fair his '' cunning plan '' is working very well. Despite trying not to many of us on here, including me, have risen to the bait on more than one occasion. It''s like shooting fish in a barrel.....

Taking Mumbo''s logic a step further regarding who''s a real fan, he must have been at the pre-season match against Lowestoft or Gorleston or whomever it was we played early on.  Afterall, it was a Norwich game so the 25,000+ who didn''t go are plastics.   Utter nonsense.
