Canary Wundaboy 1,424 Posted November 24, 2012 Gotta hope the defence is tight as the last few games, Jelavic is dangerous.
Rolf Harris 33 Posted November 24, 2012 Not resting for Southampton then
Gingerpele 0 Posted November 24, 2012 No reason to rest anyway, these are professional football players, we haven''t had a midweek game for 3 1/2 weeks, which was a cup game with many players rested, why would we rest anyone for a game 4 days before another? When both are equally important? Its not like we have 2 games every week.
ZLF 350 Posted November 24, 2012 Good team, no fellani or miralles gives us hope:-) baines jelaVic osman all dangerous though. coyy!

Rolf Harris 33 Posted November 24, 2012 We play are reserve team in the cup and many of our players seem to be inconsistent and don''t seem to have the energy to play 2 games a week. Southampton being the 6pointer and all that.
ImDrunky 0 Posted November 24, 2012 I''d take a point now, obviously hoping for all 3. But it''s still a very good Everton side.
pete 375 Posted November 24, 2012 If Russel Martin fit as was stated he should be in as cover for SW he is injured or is needed to cover at CB.

Hoolahan and Pilks swapping around a bit fair enough, they will do that anyway, both like to wonder around.
Pyro Pete 2,395 Posted November 24, 2012 In find myself missing Turner. Is this one of those universe-ending paradoxes?
Gingerpele 0 Posted November 24, 2012 Although Turner has been great, I don''t think we''ll miss him.Bassong is the key I think. The three games he missed, Fulham, most of Newcastle and Liverpool our defence was awful, and I don''t think he was fully fit against Chelsea/they were just fantastic. Even if he''s not doing a lot himself, I think he organises the defence brilliantly, and I think thats just what Bennett needs, he''s clearly talented, its just decision making, organisation and experience he needs. Bassong can help him with all three. This partnership could be as good as Turner/Bassong.
Miss Jane Marple 0 Posted November 24, 2012 My dears, that nice man on radio Norfolk has said it''s the same team as last week, apart from that nice boy Ryan Bennett being in for the injured Michael Turner. I hope he gets better soon.

unique 466 Posted November 24, 2012 Goal came from Hoolahan giving away the ball softly - he really is the most frustrating of players.

Gingerpele 0 Posted November 24, 2012 Huge change from previous weeks, don''t look good, Everton still creating some dangerous chances
Pyro Pete 2,395 Posted November 24, 2012 We look a bit rattled here. Lucky it''s not more than one goal.Snodgrass needs to help Whittaker more in defense or at least push Everton back on that flank.
