Recommended Posts

Couldn''t go tonight as not long been in from work.

Sad news about Ruddy but think Bunn will fill the hole.

Team news

Unused subs: Rudd, R Martin, Barnett, E Bennett, Howson, Morison, Jackson.

Unchanged apart from Bunn. Worried about Whittaker still, he seems inconsistent at the moment. Another shakey performance today and he needs to be dropped, but hopefully that won''t be the case!

It''s beyond belief how some people see games

Yet again more poor passing from Whittaker. He''s had more than one shakey moment! Definitely not convinced by him yet

I''m quite worried about this game to be honest

Southampton will be very offensive and attacking, kind of like us last season. Bunn and the defense have to hold.

Not very good so far, Saints look very dangerous, we need to ride this pressure. We need to start keeping the ball, we look very much the away side at the moment!

Finally a short spell in possession. Southampton look panicky when our lot run at them. Poor deliveries into the box from Snodgrass and Pilkington. Need to do better.

Our final ball is dreadful, as is our ball retention. We need to up our game if we''re gonna finish midtable

At the moment, to be honest I think we are the team who can improve/step it up. Southampton have created a few dangerous chances, but nothing too worrying. I''d be shocked to see this stay 0-0 all game, think we''ll come out strong in second half and get a goal or two.
