There's an easy way to increase our attacking threat

Recommended Posts

....and that''s for Hughton to tell Johnson to ALWAYS pass the ball and NEVER shoot. Norwich attacks won''t break down so quickly when Johnson decides to have a pop at the stand or the corner flag - he should stick to what he''s best at. Johnson and Tettey are doing a fine job protecting the defence.

He only shot twice last night...

One hit a defender (nearly knocked him out I should think) and the other didn''t go that far wide...

While he''s not the most accurate shooter in the squad, he''s not as bad as some make out. He knows how to keep them down now, last season nearly every shot went over the bar... But he''s hitting them wide or at defenders. Hitting them at defenders could work, knock one out, Holt picks up the ball and slots it home!

not a bad point Ginger ;-) but I''d rather see him distribute the ball a bit more... Last night the midfielders were just not giving our striker something to work with...

Ok, yeah thinking about it, it probably was. But super Brad does occasionally hit the defender. In that case he only had one shot yesterday... (probably, who knows, I don''t....)

BJ hit two shots into the stands yesterday that I remember, but it seems to be the same every game, if he sees the smallest gap and he gets the ball outside of the 18, he skys it.

as for the one that hit the defender. I thought hoolahan was the one who shot it (if we''re talking about when it hit the defender in the face and sent him flying.)

Unique he can''t do this, his stats for uncompleted passes was second worst in the premiership last time I looked. He''s an old fashioned stopper and as the guy who wrote the Everton prematch blog says" he must be amazed that he''s collecting premiership wages. - he just needs to break up play and look for a 5 yard (approx 3 meters for the younger reader) to somebody who can play.

All this confirms is he struggles to pass with toes 75% finding a yellow shirt and giving possession away 12 times while Wes hits nearly. 90% with a groan accompanying each of his 4 failures:-);-)
