And now, onto the community on this forum is a disgrace. Posters such as lake district canary and city1st are a blight on this club with their happy clappy attitudes. LDC for his happy go lucky attitude and especially  city1st for launching terrible attacks on the reasonably intelligent such as wiz and big vince.

Oh, and hello.

This opening post, Smudger, got the responses it deserved. Just as you do.
Seriously now, I honestly don''t think Wiz would bother with a ''fake'' account, while I have no doubt this poster has another username (or more) on this forum, Wiz doesn''t really need to, because he says what he wants on his own account.
Huzzah! GP, thank Gawd for some reality. [Y]

^ That''s far too sensible a post for this forum mate.

Give Hughton time, things will come together, we are where we are at the moment but the potential in this set up is there.

I tell you what Wiz, young Smudger or Cluck wouldn''t have let that one of the hook so easily, you''re losing your touch me old mucker ;-)

1.  I accept the acolyte ain''t you Wiz.  Maybe Midge''s mate?

2.  I ain''t a happy clapper, but will accept Percy Positive.

3.  Smudger, I honestly think we will have more than 20 points by Christmas so see no problem in getting behind Hughton now (wins at Villa, Reading & Southampton, at home to Stoke, Sunderland and Wigan)!  However if my positive view doesn''t pan out, we need to give an incoming manager time to properly plan his January window expenditure, so the point to pull the plug on Hughton will be if we don''t have 10 points in the bag after the Swansea match in December.  That will mean we either have got no more away points and also potentially not won two ("relatively") bankable home matches.  If we can''t win them then it really will imply on top of the draws with QPR & Wet Sham that something is not right in the nest.

4.  Holty is back on form now - why sell our best asset?

5.  Shocked this trolling thread has gone to 9 pages.  Even more so at the restraint that Smudger and Wiz are showing - have they been on some kind of awareness course or is their medication kicking in?

I find it fascinating that any one who voices an opinion that Hughton is not the man for the job is automatically a troll. Even more surprising is the amount of plastics who are not supporting their local team and these seem to have the loudest voices in support of him!!!!

I find it very frustrating that fans who hardly ever attend carrow road seem to feel they have the right to slaughter those that make the effort to go to games and actually see what is happening on the pitch or feel the concern amongst supporters in the ground.

So if we survive you will come back and admit you are a fool?
Yes, I have dared to speak out amongst the happy clappers and binners.Too many fools grace this forum with a belief that we can survive with Hughton (and the board!) but we cannot! Hughton has NO credientals as a premier league manager and it is the BOARDS FAULT for hiring such a poor manager. Why did Delia not decide to hire somebody with experience and courage like Holloway? Now I reliase that a poster called wiz is riducled for this, he is right. Holloway could secure us a future unlike Hughton whose negative tactics will surely bring us down [:@]The board should sack him now whilst we still can! They must save the club, unless if Delia wants her precious to drop, rotting in the lower leagues. We need new players too, Snodgrass was a bad signing as can be seen and Turner is a disgrace to footballers. Time to sell Holt and bring in some better players I say unless he upps his game.

You all seem to have forgotten that Acolyte claims on page 2 that ''actually, I went to the university of Reading.''

If you mull over this quote and you remember that Reading specialises in agriculture, then you will be close to solving the mystery of his other identity(ies).

Good luck.

Ah! The acolyte is my friend...........

Could it be that the biggest binner of all, is, wait for it, Delia Smith?

After all, Ipswich Town supporters have photos of her wearing THEIR shirt in a previous life. But was it a previous life? Do leopards change their spots? And this leopard lives in Stowmarket. And in which county is that then? And, how do we know the dive to League One wasn''t a Town plot in which she was the chief conspirator? I open up the floor...............

And yes, something needs to be done about Turner, that''s for sure. And to think that Hughton is into defenders and defending. Shocking!

As a NEW POSTER, my opinions are pretty well represented. However, in the interest of maintaining amicable relations I shall furnish you with my opinion again.

I think NCFC will stay up, I think talk of sacking Hughton is short sighted in the extreme and only really demonstrates that we, as fans, have been so spoiled in recent times that expectations are now at such a level that you have to question whether they are realistic.

So there you go.

Anyway, we were talking of fools, and looking at some of the people you align yourself with reminds me of a statement from a wise old man:

"Who is the more foolish? A fool or the fool who follows him?"

Something like that anyway.

I imagine Hughton''s no different to the rest of us old boys; as we get older, we all find we have to GO NOW.  I''ve taken to carrying a funnel and an empty bottle of Tizer.
