Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted November 3, 2012 What is interesting is the progressive improvement in those head to heads.
AJ 1,218 Posted November 3, 2012 Lovely to see us dropping far less points at home too
Crabby 0 Posted November 3, 2012 That makes good reading, 2 clean sheets too.
York Canary 28 Posted November 3, 2012 Seems good indeed, but the negative is the result against West Ham, which is minus 2 points compared to last season imo as we beat both promoted sides home and away if I''m remember correctly? Devil''s advocate..The other real positive is the clean sheets as you say! How many games did it take last season..15 or something? A record I think.

The only comparable games from last season would be QPR or Swansea at home, which we won and that would be a total of 10 points from last season too. So we''re on a par, BUT we have 3 clean sheets in those 10 games this season!:)

TheRock 148 Posted November 4, 2012 Although we didn''t play them last season - Clean sheet 0-0 draw against West Ham.
It's Character Forming 1,156 Posted November 4, 2012 And what''s really promising for me is that our last 3 league games have all been improvements on last season''s equivalents. If we can keep on anything like our current quality we''ll be ok.
Yelloow Since 72 53 Posted November 5, 2012 Interesting angle on this, and you could add in 3 cup wins (including Spurs) against the 0-4 loss at home to MK Dons last year. The clean sheets are also a key as the solidity of the squad seems show CH & co''s increasing influence. I would put the recent resurgence down to the squad ''geling'' under CH, which is reflected in the growing confidence of the defence with Johnson and Tettey adding strength in CMF. Tettey in particular has added a whole new dimension to both defending and linking forward with the attack. Long may it continue!
