lake district canary 0 Posted September 22, 2012 Was talking to someone today who suggested parking in The Sage centre car park in Gateshead, by the river and walking across the bridge and short walk to the stadium. Green and Yellow Jo 0 Posted September 22, 2012 I''ve been living up here for 13yrs now and Sage is an ok place to park but can be a bit of a nightmare to get to coming off the A1. Hunters Road and Fenham Hall Drive are good spots and only about a ten min walk from the stadium. Know quite a lot of people park at the Metrocentre and get the 100 bus to Newcastle city Centre as well. I highly recommend this as they''ve just opened a drive through Krispy Kreme at the Metrocentre which is always handy for the journey back home! Have a safe journey!
