Moaners

Recommended Posts

Yes I can understand your frustration as I was frustrated too but moaning is not going to help the team, it''s only going to shatter their confidence and that will make it worse. I was sitting in the snakepit and there was a person in a blue top that we have decide to rename the Surman hater as all he does is moan at the players. His argument for this is he pays for his ticket so he deserves to. Why not just stay at home and yell at his tv. Please just get behind the team, moaning is only going to make it worse.

Get real Skerritt - you think that was acceptable. When we fail to take points from the next three games post that again. At nearing £500 for a season ticket what we saw today from NCFC under the management of Hughton and his coaching team is not acceptable at all.

So we''re supposed to witness a catalogue of bad managerial decisions, inept team performances, poor tatical awareness and a certain relegation battle and you want us to shut our eyes & think everything is hunky dory

So you think moaning is going to make them better, you get real. If you want a team to play well, get behind them. How about you go and support Ipswich, you''ll have a lot more to moan about there

Sorry Skerritt, but you''re the one who needs to get real.

What do you want us to do, clap gentle and shout ''there there never mind'' when the fifth goal whistles in?

Yesterday was 18 carat crap, we were not in the game from the first to the last.

Most of the game was played in a stunned silence from where I was. Play well we''ll get beind you, fail to turn up and we''ll let you know it.

Am looking forward to the Chelsea game the fans are always much more supportive away from home.

Playing the big teams is great as we always sing a song to them that sums up to me what it means to be a canary. After 3

We support our local team we support our local team we support our local team

You remind me as a friend I have, he''s a Man U fan and when they win he publicly announces he is a Man U fan but when they lose he''s not. How do you expect us to do well if we don''t support our team. REAL FANS ALWAYS GET BEHIND THEIR TEAMS.

I didn''t boo yesterday, but I don''t blame anyone who did. It''s the only way fans can express their opinion. Yesterday was awful and embarrassing. I am not a Hughton hater, but I feel he''s clueless at the moment and I have no faith in him. Hands in pockets on the sideline isn''t encouraging either.

The longer this goes on, the further we fall behind and the harder It is to play catch up.

We need Bassong back and a prolific striker. Can''t see where the goals are going to come from, I really can''t .

I was so fed up after yesterdays game, like most Canaries I would think :(

Note of optimism here, in 2004 it took us 14 games before we won a match in the premiership and were pretty close to staying up by the end of that season (although it never really looked as if we would).

Its never too late and Hughton has time to make things work.   The main thing is confidence and a win. We scored twice yesterday and Jackson looked sharp and came close to scoring.  The right match with the right players fit and selected - and we will win, which will settle everyone down.     It may not be next week but its still too soon to panic, disappointing though yesterday was.   Patience is the key - and keeping the faith.   Hughton is here now. He is the manager.  Might as well get behind him and the players now - why wouldn''t we??

Good bit of optimism there

I just feel we have played two teams, at home, who may well be around us at the end of the season and we didn''t win either game. We have to win those sorts of games, because we surely aren''t going to beat any of the ''bigger'' clubs.

Sorry, probably still scarred from yesterday

Agree LDC we need to keep the faith.

Yesterday could have been very different. If we had scored as we should have done in the first minute of the second half it could have been a very different story. How the ball did not go in I do not know but when your luck is running like that results are going to be hard to come by.

I''d be lying if I said I wasn''t worried, shipping 5 goals in 2 games now isn''t good and I dread to think how we''ll cope against the bigger teams. I think the team selection has been a bit off as well. I''m not really expecting us to win our next 2 games either, a point would be a bonus. But realistically we all knew this would be a harder season than the last one, also with a change of manager there''s always a chance it might not work or take a bit longer for him to put his stamp on the team. I am not totally down or negative atm, I still think Hughton was the right choice, and on a positive Holt got his first goal, I hope he is up and running now.

If we were to sack him, And we won''t, who else is there that you really think we do better? If you say Poyet fair enough but I doubt he would come.

The trouble is BB, Hoots has worked miracles with our sieve of a defence, give him time and he''ll get the attack sorted too.

Even if we''re relegated I''d be tempted to keep him, the guy just oozes class imo.

Keeping the faith is tricky against the background of current team selections and tactics. All the more frustrating that we didn''t effectively strengthen our striking department which might have meant some of chances being converted.

Problem is even if the manager was changed, as Purple suggests there will no January transfer budget post- compensation. So I guess we stick with Hughton. Personally I don''t think we''re in with a fighting chance of winning a game until Wigan - we shall see.

Well JF, My first choice was Holloway, then McCarthy, or Rednapp if we got lucky.

And I''ve already giving my reasons on other threads today.

5 or 6 nil defeats won''t be enjoyable Ting, but I get your point.

Call yourself a supporter and given up already??   Its not hope or acceptance that the team needs, its your support.  That''s what real supporters do, they get behind the team, willing them on to do better.     Mixed messages Ting-a-ling.
