pete 371 Posted October 7, 2012 QPR are decidedly worse than any team in the division, Hughes cannot spot a defender. Reading 2-0 up can''t hold on for win. Wigan throw away a lead. Villa are rubbish. Southampton also defensively as poor as us but we have Bassong the best defender playing for any of the above. Unless any of the above get wins under their belts soon it is going to be tight. E Bennett and Pilks back today, Holty back to bustling, aggressive best and Butterfield yet to appear are all things to look forward to.
JF 694 Posted October 7, 2012 QPR will sack Hughes soon so we don''t really know how that is going to go afterwards. Wigan have experience of the fight to survive, Lambert will pull Villa clear, just and yes Reading and Southampton will be in the mix with us. It''s going to be close. Hooleyfan 0 Posted October 7, 2012 We need a win soon...confidence is going to be key and the longer we are giving away games, Hughton will continue to experiment. Bassong is a huge leader on the field as well as giving us a stronger back line...I agree that with Holt back on the goal trail, there is more hope. I am hoping we can get the midfield sorted...lots of good individuals, but always seems a bit cluttered and confused as to where the channels are. We were up against the European champions yesterday...and it showed!
Yellowbeagle 0 Posted October 7, 2012 We just need to get that first win from somewhere and make sure we arnt adrift in Jan. If you look at the fixtures we suddenly get a large run of games from the begining of Feb were we could be right in most games for points up until the very last game against Man City. We just have to make sure were not knocked out by that point both confidence and points wise.
