Surprised to see Barnett starting! Nice to see all the new lads going into the team though, hopefully we shall see a big difference from last week.

Someone has tweeted that Elliot Bennett is on crutches - sounds like a lengthy lay off.  Really do need another speedy striker brought in now.  Glad Cinnamon is starting - like last year even if he don''t score he will tire out the Rse defence and soften them up for a couple from Morison later on.

Exactly, Jackson may not score a lot, but he will be a handful and hopefully it will give Holt the space to score. (Getting really nervous about the game now btw lol)

As far as Turner is concerned maybe it is because of Rse''s pace up front.  Barnett and Bassong are both pacy aren''t they.  So if R Mart forgets about what Hoillett did to him twice last year hopefully they can get across to block out his shots!

Agreed. This is the most nervous i''ve been about a Norwich fixture for a while now. Pleased to see Jackson starting, his pace will wear out the Rs defence for sure.

barnett aside (would have stuck with r.bennett), bit concerned its a defense with only two players that have played together beforelooking at the fixture list if theres no points today hughton could be gone by the end of OctoberNovember looks good though lolreally badly need that higher quality new striker

Totally agree - and even Martin and Barnie haven''t played together since the beginning of the year. So will not be surprised to see mistakes. But, a mobile defence at least....and glad to see the inclusion of Jacko''s pace

I assume that Bassong, Barnett and Garrido have probably been doing a lot of training together, so maybe they''ve built up a good understanding, add R. Martin to that and you''ve got a pretty solid back line. I hope Barnett does well today and take the chance to prove he can be pushing for a place
