"Norwich: Are the only team in

Europe''s top 5 leagues yet to receive a single yellow or red card this

season, despite committing 40 foul"

Have we had a card this season?   If it is true then Europe here we come!

Is this our way of getting into Europe next year, is there still a spot for fair play?

Ah Fair Play League. Norwich could only qualify if the Premier Leauge is in the top three of the Fair Play table, it''s not based club v club but League v League and then the team with the best fair play record in each League is selected. (It''s also not just based on cards, but points are scored for attitude of the team and thier fans).

It''s a very, very slim chance, I think the Premier League has only had a Fair Play team 4 or 5 times since it was begun back in the mid 90s.

This is only a basic answer to your question - Yes, we haven''t recieved a card this season yet [:D] *Touch wood*The link below is a basic fair play table I found via google.http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/fairplay/_/league/eng.1/barclays-premier-league?cc=5739#

I hope we haven''t talked up a card-filled game on saturday against West Ham! [:$]

...And I''ve just realised that table is incorrect, the columns labeled "red" and "yellow" need to be swapped as you read it. [:)] ESPN living up to their cr*p reputation

And now this from Opta...Norwich City are only the sixth team in Premier League history to not pick up any cards in their opening three games.

Hmmm, we''re obviously not getting stuck in enough - a yellow card or two is a bi-product of getting at the opposition.  Where''s the ambition?  No-one got anywhere by being nice.

The initial ESPN table linked by The Rock isn''t wrong but the alignment of the column headers is out of place.

Last years table clearly shows a correlation between the type of football a team plays and their position in the fair-play table with the exception of Newcastle maybe.

Not receiving any yellow cards on first-hand is great but getting hammered 5-0 and not picking up a card some would say lacks passion.

Two penalties given away with no cards received either. Always find that strange. A penalty kick is a game changing decision and most innocuous fouls not warranting a card outside the box are rarely given inside the box.
